GETTING MARRIED IN FRANCE

The Provence is the perfect place for a destination wedding for the romantics among us. This is the place of vast fields of lavender and flowers, picturesque village squares encircled by sycamore trees, beautiful French farmhouses and adorable maison d’hôtes. Do you already see yourself with a bouqet of wild flowers while your husband opens the door to the deux-chevaux and helps you get in? Can you taste the delicious food you share with your guests at those beaitufully set long tables in the middle of a vineyard? Another wonderful aspect of the Provence are those typical French squares, where your friends and family can play a game of petanqueon the day after your wedding while you newly-weds enjoy the scene with a glass of rosé.

GETTING MARRIED AT THE CÔTE D’AZUR

Traditionally the captivating Côte d’Azur, the coastline of the French Riviera, is known as the wedding and holiday destination for the rich & famous. Mick Jagger married his beautiful bride Bianca Jagger in a little church in St. Tropez and in the narrow streets of Antibes you just might bump into George Clooney and his wife Amal. Does that flare of glamour appeal to you? This sunny region is one of the most glamorous parts of the Mediterranean and offers a number of breathtaking wedding locations. The Côte d’Azur has it all, from stylish and trendy beach clubs in St. Tropez to luxurious private villas on top of a cliff near Cannes. Just imagine that deep blue sea in the background of all your wedding photos. And what about a glamorous wedding party in a five star hotel in Monaco? Or on board of a yacht just off the coast of St. Maxime? It’s spectacular – like walking into a James Bond movie!
